Effects

Once per day, when the wielder is hit by a magical effect, they can use a reaction to absorb it, either gaining resistance equal to twice their level to an attack, or a circumstance bonus equal to their level to a saving throw.

On their next spell they then get the following effect:

  • If it involves an attack or check, they get a circumstance bonus equal to their level.
  • If it involves the target making a save, one target of the spell gets a negative circumstance bonus equal to the casters level.
