There are no records of goblins existing in the world before The Cataclysm. In the beginning, scholars thought they had emerged from underground as the rifts formed, but it turned out the opposite was true. As goblins became more integrated into society, their priests revealed that goblin lore states they used to live on the moon Ita, but were sent down to Tessam once the god Caior made it his residence.
