The powerful orcs were among the races who fared best during The Cataclysm. Already being a nomadic people with the widespread skills for keeping alive in the wilderness, the destruction of civilization wasn’t as large a hindrance to them as it was for other races. Thus, many orcs claimed high positions within The Guilds and have gained a lot of influence over the years.
