Though the duchy’s capital has been renamed since its founding, the Lordspire family still carry its original name.
When the boy was only seven years old, Duke Tristan’s mother died. Though advisors and tutors tried their best to guide him, the young duke rarely listened. His early contributions to the duchy included making his birthday a weeklong celebration (at the expense of all other festivities), only allowing naturally dead animals to be butchered and sold, and almost invading Asheron with an army of less than 300 soldiers.
Though he has matured some over the years, the now 19-year old duke has had many close calls with assassination attempts and public riots throughout his rule. All of which he has responded to brutally.
