The Beginning
At the beginning of the universe, only energy existed. The primal elemental energies of creation roamed freely and without guidance. It was during this time before time, -------, Father of Nature, and his sibling, --------, The Empty One, first formed. The first of a soon-to-be pantheon. True to their title, ---------- wanted a space for themself. And ----------- helped them.
Slowly, the ambint energy gathered in four areas that would later be known as the planes of Fire, Water, Earth and Air. As landmasses began to form within them, the pair began to realize what they could do. And they realized they might not have to be alone. Using the remaining energies, they brought others to life. -----------, The Serenity, ---------, The Forgemaster, ----------, Bringer of Night and finally ---------, Thundering and Ruinous.
But while --------- and ---------- had managed to make others like them, it had taken much of their strength and they found they no longer had the control they previously had. Together with their new family, they tried to stretch the limits further. To make something different from the elements around them. But their powers were new, and all they could create was chaos.
They realized they had to think smaller, more foused.
